I write software for a scientific instrument company. Unfortunately we use C++ on windows (yeah, I know, BOO HISS), the work’s generally interesting though so I’m willing to put up with them. On my own time I prefer other languages and operating systems. When not sitting in front of a computer I mostly hang out with my wife and kid and ride bikes, normally not at the same time though. I’ve also got a PhD in physics but I don’t get to do much with it these days which is sort of bummer.
